Instead of higher rates if you book by telephone we are simply adding a small surcharge. This new policy started April 21 2008. May 28, 29, 30, 31 Ithaca Festival Weekend, celebrate the start of summer at Grayhaven, enjoy our low weekday rates on the weekend. Click the accommodations tab above to search and see what rooms are available. Usual rate is $105 on most rooms, for this weekend only most rooms are $85. Grayhaven is a small privately owned suburban motel, serving an Expanded Continental Breakfast weekends only in the spring, summer and fall. All the rooms are NON SMOKING. Most rooms are DOG FRIENDLY ($5 per dog per night fee, free use of fenced dog play yard). WIRELESS INTERNET connection is available in SOME rooms, please confirm wireless service when making reservation. The expanded Weekend Continental Breakfast* is served buffet style in the private dining room, located in the House pictured above. When you move on to the Gathering Room, you may be seated on a comfortable couch or wing chair with coffee table within reach or at a family style dining table. This is the perfect place to meet family & friends for that Breakfast get-together. Park at your door, lounge on our lawns! Grayhaven Is conveniently located 3 miles from downtown Ithaca, it is only 1 mile from 2 "GORGES" NYS Parks, where you can while away your afternoon, hiking, picnicking, or romping in the water at the base of natural water falls. NYState Park Trails usually open middle of May and close middle of November. Finger Lakes Trail is always open. Grayhaven offers a variety of accommodations: rooms with two double beds, twin beds, one queen bed or one king, all rooms are non-smoking. All have private tub shower bath, remote control cable color TV (80 cable channels), in room phone with programmable wake up call, voice messaging, dial up data port, clock radio, refrigerator, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, air conditioning, extra pillows, and generous towels. Treman Lodge rooms, as shown above, are spacious and unique, with wood paneled walls, 6 with vaulted ceilings, 4 super size, click on accommodations tab for more pictures. Each of these rooms has a bird feeder hanging outside the large windows that overlook grass and trees. The feeders attract chickadees, titmice, nuthatches, goldfinches and other birds native to Northeastern US. If a room in the Treman Lodge is for you be sure to mention it if you call to make your reservation. There are two other guest areas: a duplex cottage, which houses 2 individual suites each with a private kitchen and bathroom, small sitting room, queen bed, two TV's, 2 phones, and a Carriage House, which has an older suite with living room, queen bed in bedroom, private kitchen and bathroom, one TV, one phone: additionally The Carriage House has 3 other accommodation, which were built on to the main building. There are other kitchens available adjacent to Treman Lodge rooms with 2 double beds and connecting. Please go to Google Maps, satellite view of 657 Elmira Rd Ithaca, to see a layout of our location. We have free high speed wireless internet access in Carriage House accommodations, and depending on your laptops capability,  the signal reaches to the Cottage Suites, and Treman Lodge rooms 11 thru 17. Also available in our office and Gathering Room. Grayhaven's pet policy: We allow all sizes of dogs in most guest rooms (exceptions are Carriage House King bed room #3, and both Cottage Suites). We have a $5 per day pet fee. For your free use is a fenced off leash dog yard with "agility" equipment,  (you must be with your dog, while in the yard, and pick up after your dog, Please this is NOT a Children’s Play Yard). Please read specifics by clicking on the policies tab above left. We have two dogs ourselves…a sheltie and a black lab, Kathy competes with them in agility. The dogs have American Kennel Club, and Canine Performance Events, and Teacup Agility Titles. Kathy is a member and instructor with Ithaca Dog Training Club and is an AKC certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator We are a member of the Audubon Society, Cornell Bird Sanctuary, Greater Ithaca Innkeepers Association. Directions From the North Grayhaven Motel is located 1 mile south of the Ithaca City line directly on NY Route 13 (or 34 or 96). From the North you pass Buttermilk Falls State Park on the left, 1 mile further south is our entrance. From the South, from Interstate 86, take Route 13, or 34 or 96.
